Jamie Piearcy

Jamie Piearcy is a Kazakh-born San Diegan who loves to write, paint, and dance. She joined IQ Podcasts’ documentary team as the Digital Media Director in 2023, and also holds the title of Assistant Editor of the IQ Podcasts Magazine, under the tutelage of Editor-in-Chief Sarah Morga.

Jamie trained professionally in ballet for thirteen years, along with the occasional modern, contemporary, and circus arts classes. She is a contortionist who performed her mind-bending act in Coronado’s Talent for two years. She was also a feature act at the San Diego Teachers Academia Awards formal gala in 2022. Her passion and dedication to many forms of art has allowed her to excel in her goals. In 2019, Jamie was accepted into the Salzburg International Ballet Academy and spent the summer on a performance tour throughout Austria and Germany. She graduated from her hometown studio, San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, in 2022.

Jamie enjoys writing as well as dancing. She is an accomplished author and poet. With the support of her family and friends, Jamie published three books before the age of twenty, all of which are available at the Amazon link above.

Outside of her professional life, Jamie enjoys traveling, studying cold cases, collecting sweaters, and adding to her large collection of paintings. She loves learning languages and ciphers, and creating her own. Jamie is passionate about social justice and is excited to see where her future takes her.
